Strengths: Jig, Crankbaits, Texas-Rigged
Weaknesses: Rattle Traps, Spinnerbaits, and I'm still having fun learning to Drop Shot
Favorite time of year to fish: As soon as water temps hit 67 degrees going into Spring
Go-To Lure: I taught myself how to fish a flipping jig after watching a very informative episode of Lost Lake. Thank You Dave Wolak you taught me so much! I also like shaky head and vibrating jigs.
Hobbies: Xbox, Disc Golf, Kayaks, and Reel Repair
What is your best fishing memory? Teaching myself how to fish a jig during the spawn 2011. All I remember is lots of big fish!
What accomplishment are you most proud of? Taking what I learned in 2011 with the jig and using it in 2012 to win the March event at University. That was probably the most confident I have ever felt during a tournament. I won with 82" and culled several fish in the 16" range. That always feels good! I took home $260 that day for doing something I love.
